[February 04, 2010]  The governing board of Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois is beginning a strategic planning process and is requesting public opinion.

Interested residents are encouraged to fill out a short survey available online. Click here.

Public officials are also being contacted so that they can share their experiences with assistance requests from their constituents.

"As the governing board of directors begins its planning process, we are requesting feedback from the community," said Angela Stoltzenburg, executive director. "The mission of Community Action is to work toward eliminating poverty in our community. We want to know what areas of need are not being met."

Community Action provides services to low-income families and seniors six central Illinois counties: DeWitt, Fulton, Logan, Mason, Menard and Piatt. Visit www.capcil.org for more information.
