Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[February 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery dropped 9.5 cents to $5.5775 a bushel, while March corn slid 4.25 cents to $4.175 a bushel and oats for March delivery fell 3 cents to $2.74 a bushel. March soybeans sank 33 cents to $10.26 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle slipped 0.03 cent to 85.92 cents a pound; March feeder cattle inched up 0.07 cent to 96.82 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.53 cent to 67.1 cents a pound; and February pork bellies lost 0.2 cent to 87.4 cents a pound.
