Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[February 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 10.75 cents to $5.685 a bushel, while March corn climbed 5.5 cents to $4.23 a bushel and oats for March delivery rose 1 cent to $2.75 a bushel. March soybeans fell 4 cents to $10.22 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded lower and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle slipped 0.1 cent to 85.82 cents a pound; March feeder cattle lost 0.17 cent to 96.65 cents a pound; February lean hogs edged up 0.15 cent to 67.25 cents a pound; and February pork bellies added 0.1 cent to 87.5 cents a pound.
