Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[February 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery added 4 cents to $5.725 a bushel, while March corn fell 0.5 cent to $4.225 a bushel and oats for March delivery fell 7 cents to $2.68 a bushel. March soybeans dropped 11.5 cents to $10.105 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle lost 0.77 cent to 85.05 cents a pound; March feeder cattle edged down 0.25 cent to 96.4 cents a pound; February lean hogs shed 0.58 cent to 66.67 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slipped 0.13 cent to 87.37 cents a pound.
