[January 14, 2010]  Abigail Matson and Matthew McCarty were married Oct. 24, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Lincoln. Pastor Mark Kaley and Pastor Larry Maffett officiated.

Abigail parents are Roger and Julie Matson of Lincoln, and Matthew's parents are Ron and Pam McCarty of Mount Pulaski.

Maid of honor was Cara Slack, and bridesmaids were Brittany Quade, Sarah Schierer and Sarah Smith. Flower girl was Emma Redding.

Best man was Nick McCarty, and groomsmen were Hayden Matson, Kyle Myers and Sam Morrow. Ring bearer was Johnathan Gorman.

Ushers were Chris Matson, Luke Landgrebe, Zach Landers and Jordan Tabb.

Abigail graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 2004 and from Illinois College in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She is an accountant at ADM in Decatur.

Matthew graduated from Mount Pulaski High School in 2002 and from Lincoln Technical Institute in 2003 with an applied science degree in auto mechanics. He is a laborer at Seneca Companies in Oreana.

Their honeymoon was at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and they currently live at Chestnut.
