[February 04, 2010]  Tim Searby has been chosen as director for Castle Manor Supportive Living Community. He started his duties Monday in the sales office at 626 N. Chicago St. in Lincoln.

Searby, no stranger to the health care field, was administrator of The Christian Village in Lincoln for 23 years. He served the last nine years as worship minister at Lincoln Christian Church and directed productions for Lincoln Community Theatre and Lincoln Christian University.

The new facility is located just east of the Lincoln Walmart Supercenter and is scheduled for a spring move-in date.

Castle Manor is affiliated with St. Clara's Manor and is managed by Heritage Enterprises of Bloomington.

As the first supportive living community in Logan County, Castle Manor Supportive Living offers an affordable assisted lifestyle for both those eligible for Medicaid and those paying privately. Castle Manor's mission is simple. Castle Manor is committed to supporting and maintaining the dignity, respect, choice, independence, self-determination and wellness of each of the residents.
