Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[February 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March delivery dropped 9.25 cents to $5.2775 a bushel, while March corn fell 3 cents to $3.81 a bushel and oats for March delivery lost 4.5 cents to $2.46 a bushel. March soybeans slid 8.5 cents to $9.84 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.95 cent to 86.65 cents a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.38 cent to 97.95 cents a pound; February lean hogs inched up 0.08 cent to 69.05 cents a pound; and February pork bellies gained 0.73 cent to 89.55 cents a pound.
