Mount Pulaski asks for residents' help during snow season

[February 04, 2010]  MOUNT PULASKI -- The street department in Mount Pulaski asks that residents refrain from parking on the city streets during the winter.

If for some reason residents have to park on the street during snow season, they are asked to move their vehicles as far off the road as possible, such as half on the boulevard and half on the street.

Also, residents are asked not to park directly across from any vehicles parked on the other side of the street.

Cooperation from residents will make it safer for workers to plow the snow and will reduce the possibility of an ordinance to eliminate parking on one side of the street.
