Bingo sponsored by Extension
The Logan County Extension Unit will sponsor the bingo
games Thursday, Jan. 21, beginning at 1 p.m. at The Oasis.
Oasis annual board meeting
The annual board meeting of The Oasis is open to the public. The
meeting of the corporation in conjunction with the regular meeting
will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21. The purpose of the report is
to inform the members and public about the accomplishments of 2009
and the goals for 2010. A nominating committee will submit names of
candidates to serve terms available on the board of directors. The
evening will begin with the business meeting, followed by
entertainment and a light meal.

The Oasis,
Logan County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is
open weekdays, except holidays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center
also is open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is the executive director.
Activities are open to all Logan
County senior citizens, regardless of membership. Friends of The
Oasis members receive a bimonthly newsletter by mail and reduced
