Twelve motorist assists and 30 crashes were handled during that time, including a minor personal injury crash involving an Illinois State Police trooper assigned to District 9.

Trooper Travis Molloy was responding to a vehicle in the ditch on I-55 northbound at milepost 109. With his emergency lights activated, Molloy positioned the squad car on the right shoulder.
