Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[February 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for March delivery fell 3 cents to $4.975 a bushel, while March corn lost 1.25 cents to $3.68 a bushel and oats for March delivery slid 6 cents to $2.20 a bushel. March soybeans dropped 13.5 cents to $9.50 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded mixed and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle edged down 0.45 cent to 87.45 cents a pound; March feeder cattle gained 0.2 cent to 99.87 cents a pound; February lean hogs shed 0.3 cent to 70.45 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 1.2 cents to 89.05 cents a pound.
