Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[January 23, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery lost 1 cent to $4.985 a bushel, while March corn dropped 7.25 cents to $3.6475 a bushel and oats for March delivery climbed 10 cents to $2.33 a bushel. March soybeans fell 2.5 cents to $9.515 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded mixed and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle slipped 0.23 cent to 86.62 cents a pound; March feeder cattle edged up 0.23 cent to 99.6 cents a pound; February lean hogs shed 0.95 cent to 69.85 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 2.5 cents to 86.5 cents a pound.
