Agriculture futures mixed, livestock prices fall

[January 26, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery dipped 0.25 cent to $4.9825 a bushel; March corn added 3 cents to $3.6775 a bushel; and oats for March delivery edged up 0.25 cents to $2.3325 a bushel. March soybeans fell 11 cents to $9.405 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle slipped 0.42 cent to 86.20 cents a pound; March feeder cattle dropped 0.83 cent to 98.77 cents a pound; February lean hogs fell 1.48 cents to 68.37 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 3 cents to 83.50 cents a pound.
