Thom Rainer to speak at Elders' and Church Leaders' Conference Feb. 20

[January 27, 2010]  ^"Leading the Simple Church," a conference for elders and church leaders, is scheduled for Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Lincoln Christian University. Highlighted speakers are Dr. Thom Rainer and Dr. J.K. Jones Jr.

Rainer recently wrote and released "Simple Life." He is also the author of "Simple Church," "Raising Dad" and "Essential Church." He is currently president and CEO of Life Way Christian Resources.

Jones will speak at the closing session. He is an LCU professor of Christian ministries, associate dean and department chairman. He is the author of several books as well: "Longing for God," "Waiting on God" and "What the Monks Can Teach Us."

Registration for the conference event is $30 by Feb. 13 and $35 after Feb. 13.
