Dear citizens of Logan County: I am writing this letter in support
of Chuck Conzo for Logan County treasurer.
I have known Chuck and his wife, Judy, for many years. Both are
very good people, and both volunteered for many community events I
was involved with while serving as mayor of Lincoln.
Chuck has served as an excellent commissioner of the city of
Lincoln's Abraham Lincoln Bi-Centennial Commission; a city of
Lincoln civil service commissioner; a member of the Lincoln Heritage
Days Committee (Lincoln's Fourth of July celebration) -- including
co-chairing with his wife, Judy; the community-wide flea market and
garage sale each year since inception; and currently is serving as a
member of the Logan County Civil War Soldier's Statue Committee.
Chuck, along with Judy, is an active member of the First United
Methodist Church and serves on several committees at the church.

He has a very good concept of money management, managing staff,
serving in an advisory capacity and is a well-rounded, positive and
helpful person. He is kind and mannerly, considerate of our current
economic situation within the county, state and nation; and Logan
County would be extremely fortunate to have Chuck's expertise and
professional guidance in one of the county's most crucial and
recently criticized offices within county government. This position
is not an easy one; and Chuck has the knowledge of local, state and
federal government mandates the treasurer's office needs to comply.
He is a good person -- honest and trustworthy. Chuck would be able
to pick up where Mary Ellen Bruns left off in her improvements of
the office during her tenure. Chuck would make efficiency
enhancements for our county in this time of economic strife and
ensure timely compliance where needed.
Please vote for Chuck Conzo in the upcoming election. Our county
needs him.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth A. Davis-Kavelman
