[July 01, 2010]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Jeremy London is asking a Los Angeles judge to order his mother and brother to stop giving interviews that the actor claims are harming his reputation and career.

The lawsuit filed Wednesday also claims the interviews may hamper an investigation into London's alleged kidnapping in the desert city of Palm Springs this month.

Insurance The former "Party of Five" and "7th Heaven" actor is seeking a permanent injunction against his mother, twin brother Jason, and his brother's girlfriend. The complaint says the trio have ignored requests to stop giving interviews about the actor.

A hearing on the suit, which was first reported by People.com, is scheduled for Thursday morning.

A representative for Jason London did not immediately return a message seeking comment Wednesday.
