[July 05, 2010]  SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Former Miss California Carrie Prejean is now Mrs. Kyle Boller, after marrying the Oakland Raiders quarterback at a San Diego resort.

The San Diego Union-Tribune says the dethroned beauty queen and the 29-year-old quarterback tied the knot late Friday in a private ceremony at the Grand Del Mar.

Among the guests were Gateway computer founder Ted Waitt, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Matt Nordgren.

The 23-year-old bride made headlines last year after making controversial remarks during the Miss USA pageant that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Prejean eventually surrendered her crown after pageant officials accused her of missing events, an allegation she denied.
