As if two hoses aren't enough, this firefighter brings out the "big gun" and opens the flood valve on the top of the fire truck.

"Perhaps a new strategy is needed. I'll catch all the water I can, then go dump it on the two chiefs!"

A drenched Mayor Keith Snyder and Roy Logan pose for the camera. It is reported that last year Logan made it through the entire battle without getting wet. No such luck this time!

With so much water coming from the firefighters, visibility is low. Nonetheless, balloons fly through the air, hoping to hit a target!

As a stream of water cuts across the lawn, it's Mayday for the Balloon Brigade.

A water-soaked police chief seems to be enjoying his role in the battle.

It sounded like a good strategy, but the little guy on his hands and knees may be calling "Retreat!"

With the balloons all busted and the battle over, it's left to park director Marcia Greenslate to clean up the battle scene. But she's all smiles as it was another very successful event.
