Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[July 07, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery leapt 14 cents to $5.17 a bushel; September corn added 2.75 cents to $3.7525 a bushel; November soybeans gained 10.75 cents to $9.165 a bushel; and September oats jumped 8.5 cents to $2.56 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle jumped 1.33 cents to 90.80 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.83 cent to $1.1350 a pound; August lean hogs added 0.55 cent to 80.60 cents a pound; and July pork bellies were flat at 98.50 cents a pound.
