Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[July 08, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery gained 7.5 cents to $5.15 a bushel; September corn added 7.75 cents to $3.7575 a bushel; November soybeans jumped 14.5 cents to $9.145 a bushel; and September oats rose 2 cents to $2.56 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle added 0.30 cent to 90.10 cents a pound; August feeder cattle dipped 0.32 cent to $1.1320 a pound; August lean hogs rose 0.33 cent to 80.60 cents a pound; and July pork bellies gained 0.10 cent to 98.60 cents a pound.
