[July 08, 2010]  RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Sheriff's deputies responding to a dispute at a northern Nevada home said they discovered that a man sharing the house with his mother was growing marijuana plants in his closet.

Washoe County Sheriff's Deputy Armando Avina said officers responded to a home late Friday to investigate a dispute between a woman and her son and smelled marijuana.

Avina said deputies found three large marijuana plants, lamps and fertilizer.

Twenty-six-year-old Travis Todd Fletcher was booked on Saturday into the Washoe County Jail on suspicion of cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A message left by The Associated Press at a phone listing for Fletcher was not immediately returned.
