Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[July 09, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery gained 4.5 cents to $5.35 a bushel; September corn added 5.75 cents to $3.84 a bushel; November soybeans rose 7.5 cents to $9.40 a bushel; and September oats were flat at $2.5975 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle added 0.62 cent to 91.12 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.40 cent to $1.1395 a pound; August lean hogs gained 0.25 cent to 81.07 cents a pound; and July pork bellies traded 0.13 cent higher to 79 cents a pound.
