Grains futures mixed, livestock prices mostly rise

[July 10, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery dropped 8.5 cents to $5.40 a bushel; September corn fell 4 cents to $3.815 a bushel; November soybeans rose 1.5 cents to $9.475 a bushel; and September oats were flat at $2.575 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle slid 0.10 cent to 90.80 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.32 cent to $1.1392 a pound; August lean hogs gained 0.10 cent to 81 cents a pound; and July pork bellies gained 1.5 cents to 101 cents a pound.
