Grains futures rise, livestock prices trade mixed

[July 15, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for September delivery gained 1.75 cents to $5.51 a bushel; September corn added 2.75 cent to $3.78 a bushel; November soybeans jumped 6.75 cents to $9.6125 a bushel; and September oats rose 1.5 cents to $2.545 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle dipped 0.05 cent to 90.90 cents a pound; August feeder cattle slipped 0.15 cent to $1.1347 a pound; August lean hogs added 0.45 cent to 79.80 cents a pound; and July pork bellies were flat at 102.20 cents a pound.
