The second annual Ales for Tails drew a crowd of 150 at Chad's Blind in Lincoln. Outdoor cooking was the theme of this year's meal, and there was plenty for everyone to eat all evening. The great music was supplied by the local band Shiftin' Gears, who generously donated their time and talents to help the Humane Society of Logan County.

Last year the event drew 90 supporters, and HSLC volunteers were delighted to see the event is growing in numbers. Proceeds from the day will help fund the new shelter being built on the northeast side of Lincoln.
