Grains futures, livestock prices mostly drop

[July 21, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly dropped Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery slid 5.25 cents to $5.77 a bushel; September corn dropped 6 cents to $3.755 a bushel; November soybeans shed 5 cents to $9.67 a bushel; and September oats were flat at $2.605 a bushel.

Livestock futures mostly fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle dipped 0.07 cent to 93.05 cents a pound; August feeder cattle dropped 0.22 cent to $1.1420 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.52 cent to 81.10 cents a pound; and August pork bellies rose 1.3 cents to 99 cents a pound.
