Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices mixed

[July 28, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for September delivery climbed 10.75 cents to $6.0025 a bushel; September corn added 3.5 cents to $3.675 a bushel; and September oats were flat at $2.51 a bushel. Soybeans for November delivery jumped 5 cents to $9.71.

Livestock futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Live cattle for October delivery dipped 0.05 cent to 93.72 cents a pound; August feeder cattle slipped 0.5 cent to $1.1445 a pound; October lean hogs gained 0.78 cent to 76.25 cents a pound; and August pork bellies rose 1 cent to $1.0375 a pound.
