Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[July 30, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for September delivery rose 8.5 cents to $6.24 a bushel; September corn gained 6.5 cents to $3.8275 a bushel; September oats were flat at $2.57 a bushel; and soybeans for November delivery added 9 cents to $9.87 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.62 cent to 94.82 cents a pound; September feeder cattle gained 0.42 cent to $1.1527 a pound; October lean hogs jumped 1.35 cents to 78.30 cents a pound; and August pork bellies rose 0.25 cent to 103 cents a pound.
