Community Action changes office hours

[July 31, 2010]  Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois announced Friday that it has new operating hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 12:30-4 p.m.

InsuranceAfter a trial period during July, it was decided to make the change in operating hours permanent. The new hours allow for families to access services over the lunch hour.

The hours affect the outreach offices in Clinton, for DeWitt County; in Havana, for Mason and Fulto counties; in Petersburg, for Menard County; in Monticello, for Piatt County; and the corporate office in Lincoln, Logan County.

Community Action is a private, nonprofit organization that serves low-income families and seniors in a six-county area with a variety of services. For more information, call 1-877-588-7189 or visit www.capcil.org.
