Principal Becky Cecil is hard to surprise, but she was on Friday. The outpouring of genuine love between the principal, students, staff, teachers and parents was apparent as everyone gathered to wish her a fond farewell.

Becky said that she wouldn't trade her time at Washington-Monroe for anything and wanted to thank everyone who over the years had made her career an "awesome experience."
