[June 02, 2010]  IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- Iowa City police say they were able to track down a drunken driver who struck a street sign thanks in part to his clothing. His lack of clothing, that is.

Police say witnesses told officers they saw a naked man drive away from a convenience store early Tuesday and hit a street sign.

Police found the damaged car a short time later. The driver was gone, but police say they found the man, still naked, outside his neighbor's apartment.

Authorities say the 20-year-old man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.189 percent, more than twice the legal limit. Police say witnesses from the convenience store were able to identify the naked man as the driver of the vehicle.
