Grains futures rise on the Chicago BOT

[June 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures climbed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for July delivery rose 0.75 cent to $4.4175 a bushel, while July corn rose 1 cent to $3.495 a bushel and soybeans for July delivery jumped 22.5 cents to $9.55 a bushel. July oats rose 4 cents to $1.96 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded higher and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle edged up 0.05 cent to 92.10 cents a pound, August feeder cattle added 0.02 cent to $1.0967 a pound, June lean hogs shed 0.87 cent to 80.45 cents a pound, and July pork bellies lost 2.50 cents to $1.00 a pound.
