[June 07, 2010]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A crowd of media and officers watched as a porn actor suspected of killing a colleague fell to his death down a rocky Los Angeles hillside after a daylong standoff with police.

HardwareVideo of the apparent suicide Saturday shows Stephen Clancy Hill on the rocky cliff in Chatsworth, surrounded by a SWAT team and talking to police negotiators, before tumbling some 40 feet. The fall was captured by news cameras. Police say Hill had repeatedly threatened suicide.

He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police say a "less than lethal munition" was used against Hill as they tried to apprehend him just before he apparently jumped.

Hill faced murder and attempted murder charges in connection with the attack Tuesday at a DVD production center that left one person dead and two injured.
