Lincoln College says farewell to Hutchinsons

Dr. John Hutchinson and his wife, Jean Ann, were honored with a farewell party at the new Lincoln Center on the Lincoln College campus Tuesday night. The two have decided to retire from the field of education and relocate in Florida. A large attendance of college staff, community leaders and friends stopped by to give their best to the popular couple as they wind up their careers at LC.

The area where the museum will eventually be housed was an excellent place for the get-together.

John Blackburn, past chairman of the college's trustees, talks about John and Jean Ann's service to the college and to the community.

 

Deb Ackerman reads a letter from Mayor Keith Snyder, who was out of town, thanking the Hutchinsons for their community service.

Trustee Greg Eimer advises John and Jean Ann that a stone with their names will be placed at the Lincoln Center.

 

 

 

Both talked about their time at the college and in the community.

The Hutchinsons were given a   standing ovation after they spoke.
