Grains futures, livestock prices rise on CBOT

[June 15, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for July delivery added 9 cents to $4.4975 a bushel; July corn rose 2.25 cents to $3.5175 a bushel; July oats gained 7.25 cents to $2.3425 a bushel; and July soybeans traded up 7.75 cents to $9.54 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle added 0.83 cent to 88.10 cents a pound; August feeder cattle gained 0.38 cent to $1.1045 a pound; July lean hogs jumped 1.55 cents to 80.10 cents a pound; and July pork bellies rose 1.45 cents to 97.40 cents a pound.
