Grains futures mixed, livestock prices drop

[June 18, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 3.25 cents to $4.58 a bushel; July corn added 0.25 cent to $3.565 a bushel; July soybeans dipped 0.75 cent to $9.57 a bushel; and July oats were flat at $2.70 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle slid 0.52 cent to 88.65 cents a pound; August feeder cattle dropped 0.55 cent to $1.1035 a pound; July lean hogs slipped 0.15 cent to 80.75 cents a pound; and July pork bellies shed 0.80 cent to 96.70 cents a pound.
