The 2010 Relay for Life in Logan County was held Friday night in hot, muggy conditions at Lincoln Community High School. But that didn't keep the walkers from coming out to help battle cancer. In all 42 teams signed up this year, raising $13,733.31 to help battle the disease.

The American Legion honor guard presented the colors as Lesleigh Bennett sang our national anthem.

Walkers of all ages made a trip around the track.

One team held hands while they walked.

Sand candles called luminaria with the names of those who have been stricken with cancer lined the track.

Sadly, much of the track had the candles, each noting a friend or loved one.
