Grains futures trade mixed, livestock prices rise

[June 23, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for July delivery dropped 3.75 cents to $4.5825 a bushel; July corn slipped 2.25 cents to $3.5275 a bushel; July soybeans rose 1.25 cents to $9.645 a bushel; and July oats were flat at $2.645 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle added 0.43 cent to 89.75 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.67 cent to $1.1237 a pound; July lean hogs inched up 0.05 cent to 82.05 cents a pound; and July pork bellies slipped 0.15 cent to 99.85 cents a pound.
