Grains futures trade mixed, livestock prices fall

[June 24, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for September delivery rose 4.25 cents to $4.80 a bushel; September corn dropped 3.5 cents to $3.575 a bushel; November soybeans fell 8 cents to $9.28 a bushel; and July oats were flat at $2.78 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle slipped 0.23 cent to 88.57 cents a pound; August feeder cattle dipped 0.10 cent to $1.1172 a pound; August lean hogs dropped 0.65 cent to 83.85 cents a pound; and July pork bellies fell 0.85 cent to 99.60 cents a pound.
