Visiting the Lincoln Farmer's Market in Scully Park

Darlene Crump of Carlock is busy tending customers. The Crump family has homegrown cherries, apricots, cucumbers, squash, kohlrabi, onions, beets and cabbage. They also have tomatoes from Arkansas, blueberries from Michigan and cantaloupe from Georgia. All of their canned goods are Illinois-grown.

 

This is Dennis Moldenhauer from north of Easton. All of his veggies are homegrown. Right now he has popcorn, green beans and cabbage available.



 

This is Dave Dunhan of Lincoln. He sells rabbits and fertilizer. Most people use his fertilizer for plants, gardens and yards. Dave donates all his proceeds to St. Jude's.

This is Sara Gieseke of Elkhart. She has green beans, beets, lettuce, peas and baked goods from her garden and kitchen.

 

Alan and Val Carder of Lincoln buy green coffee beans and roast them. They have over 20 different flavors available for sale. Just follow your nose. The smell is wonderful!
 

Bill Bates, city attorney, is purchasing fresh veggies from Sue Wachter of Lincoln. Sue has corn, green beans, sweet onions, green onions, kohlrabi, zucchini, beets, carrots, herb plants, baked goods and doggie biscuits.
