Grains futures mixed, livestock prices rise

[June 26, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 3.5 cents to $4.74 a bushel; September corn dipped 0.25 cent to $3.535 a bushel; November soybeans added 0.5 cent to $9.125 a bushel; and July oats were flat at $2.745 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.15 cent to 89.30 cents a pound; August feeder cattle added 0.38 cent to $1.1305 a pound; August lean hogs gained 0.25 cent to 83.50 cents a pound; and July pork bellies rose 0.10 cent to 100 cents a pound.
