Grains futures, livestock prices drop on CBOT

[June 30, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures dropped Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 8 cents to $4.57 a bushel; September corn dropped 6.75 cents to $3.355 a bushel; November soybeans slipped 2.5 cents to $9.16 a bushel; and September oats tumbled 4.75 cents to $2.5925 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle dropped 1.55 cents to 88.12 cents a pound; August feeder cattle slid 1.20 cents to $1.1277 a pound; August lean hogs lost 1.42 cents to 80.75 cents a pound; and July pork bellies fell 2.1 cents to 99.10 cents a pound.
