LCHS junior Katy Langdon visited Washington-Monroe on Tuesday. Katy is a member of the LCHS speech team, and this season she performed poetry at the speech competitions. The poems Katy uses are by many of the authors the school's students read and enjoy. Washington-Monroe enjoys using high school students whenever possible as role models and mentors for their students and has a tutoring program run by National Honor Society students.
