Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 03, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at $5.045 a bushel, while May corn slipped 0.25 cent to $3.815 a bushel and oats for May delivery inched up 0.5 cent to $2.30 a bushel. May soybeans gained 1 cent to $9.635 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures climbed and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 1.05 cents to 92.77 cents a pound; April feeder cattle added 0.77 cent to $1.0442 a pound; April lean hogs lost 0.5 cent to 72.45 cents a pound; and May pork bellies advanced 1.37 cents to 95.57 cents a pound.
