Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 06, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery dropped 8.75 cents to $4.935 a bushel, while May corn slid 7.5 cents to $3.755 a bushel and oats for May delivery were flat at $2.265 a bushel. May soybeans inched up 0.75 cent to $9.4275 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded mixed and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle slipped 0.07 cent to 92.95 cents a pound; April feeder cattle added 0.1 cent to $1.0522 a pound; April lean hogs lost 0.47 cent to 73.1 cents a pound; and May pork bellies shed 0.05 cent to 93 cents a pound.
