 Maple Ridge Care Centre is participating in Alert Day through a
free educational event that is open to the community. From 2 to
4 p.m. on March 23, the public is invited to the dining room at
Maple Ridge to learn more about diabetes.Diabetes risk tests will
be available, as well as glucose testing. Educational materials will
be on hand. The Maple Ridge kitchen staff will provide
diabetic-friendly refreshments and copies of their recipes.
Donations will be accepted on behalf of the American Diabetes
Association.
Maple Ridge Care Centre is located at 2202 N. Kickapoo St. in
Lincoln.
