Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 11, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery dropped 8 cents to $4.815 a bushel, while May corn lost 3.5 cents to $3.655 a bushel and oats for May delivery slid 7 cents to $2.18 a bushel. May soybeans jumped 10.5 cents to $9.58 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded lower and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle edged down 0.53 cent to 93.87 cents a pound; April feeder cattle fell 1 cent to $1.0502 a pound; April lean hogs added 0.15 cent to 72.55 cents a pound; and May pork bellies gained 0.2 cent to 93 cents a pound.
