Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 13, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for May delivery climbed 6.5 cents to $4.8525 a bushel, while May corn fell 1 cent to $3.6425 a bushel and oats for May delivery edged up 2 cents to $2.185 a bushel. May soybeans lost 5 cents to $9.255 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle gained 1.28 cents to 95.1 cents a pound; April feeder cattle rose 0.87 cent to $1.0597 a pound; April lean hogs added 0.78 cent to 72.65 cents a pound; and May pork bellies shed 0.45 cent to 92.05 cents a pound.
