Students at Washington-Monroe School enjoyed a day of learning about China on Thursday during their "Winter Fantasy" activity day. The Winter Fantasy week has included theme days and a family movie night as well as activities about China, the people and their customs. Parents decorated the gym for the event, including a huge, colorful dragon entrance to the gym.

Students were read stories, tried their hand at eating rice with chopsticks, made Chinese lanterns and learned how to play Chinese jump-rope.
