Agriculture futures mostly rise on CBOT

[March 24, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery added 0.75 cent to $4.8725 a bushel; May corn shed 1.25 cents to $3.695 a bushel; May soybeans gained 6.5 cents to $9.75 a bushel; and May oats edged up 0.5 cent to $2.19 a bushel.

Meanwhile, livestock futures mostly fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle shed 0.87 cent to 93.20 cents a pound; May feeder cattle dropped 0.40 cent to $108.90 cents a pound; June lean hogs slid 1.05 cents to 81.80 cents a pound; and May pork bellies climbed 3 cents to 96.15 cents a pound.
